Here's another handy item you're not likely to find in small quantities.
The enemies of quality contest rubber are light, oxygen, moisture and heat, but maybe most of all, the acids used to make paper products and cardboard boxes. It is not a good idea to store your valuable rubber for long periods of time in the original cardboard box it came in. So where should you keep it?
The best container for preserving rubber is polyester Mylar foil zip-lock bags. More inert than standard clear polypropylene and polyethylene bags, these Mylar foil bags seal out moisture, light and oxygen. All you need to do is keep them in a cool basement or fridge (if that's an option).
These bags are a heavy 8.5" x 8" and will hold 1# of rubber or several large motors very nicely. They are easy to write on to keep batches labeled. They're also perfect for storing used lubed motors. Try a few with your next order.
For orders outside the US: If you only get "Global Express" as a shipping option for a gozillion dollars, go ahead and place the order along with a note saying you want "Global Priority" shipping instead. I will make the adjustment on my end PRIOR TO CHARGING YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT.
