HS Balsa Sticks are hands down the best balsa stripwood you will find anywhere. Whether you find it difficult getting dead square sticks or are just not fond of stripping wood period, HS balsa sticks is your answer. And if straight, square sticks are not enough, all sheets are hand selected for stiffness and weight sorted prior to stripping. No stick will be shipped that I would not personally use on my own models. They are currently available in bundles of 50 with sizes ranging from 1/32"sq. to 1/8"sq.

Yellow - 4-5# density: Very, very light wood suitable for tail surfaces where the effect of excess weight is magnified.

Orange - 5-6# density: Very light wood suggested for use in fuselage members aft of the center of gravity as well as tail surfaces.

Red - 6-7# density: Light wood usable for fuselage cross members, wing spars and wing leading edges on lighter models. On smaller models may be used for longerons as well.

Blue - 7-8# density: Firm wood suitable for longerons on lighter models, wing spars and leading edges on all models.

Brown - 8+ density: Longerons on all models, cross members forward of the center of gravity, leading edges and wing spars of heavier models.

You may order a full bundle of any density or a bundle of assorted densities.
